Gain a City & Guilds Level 1 qualification in 14 weeks – no experience required.
Thinking about a new direction? Our Level 1 Electrical Installation course is designed for adults who want to retrain, upskill, or enter the electrical industry with confidence. No previous experience required — just commitment and willingness to learn.
We understand our learners work full-time and have family commitments. That’s why we offer evening and selected weekend options. Share your availability and we’ll match you with the most suitable intake.
This isn’t just classroom theory. You’ll train in our fully equipped workshop, installing sockets, lighting circuits and containment systems while learning safe isolation and industry best practice.
All sessions are delivered by experienced electrical professionals who bring real site knowledge into the classroom. You’ll learn how things are done in the real world — not just from a textbook.
On successful completion, you’ll achieve a recognised City & Guilds Level 1 qualification — the first step toward further training and progression within the electrical industry.
Level 1 is your foundation. From here, you can progress to Level 2, 18th Edition and further industry training. We’ll guide you through your next steps so you understand exactly how to move forward.
No prior experience required.
Yes. The course is specifically structured for those in full-time employment. Evening scheduling allows you to train without leaving your current job.
Not at all. We regularly train adult learners who are changing careers or upskilling later in life. The electrical industry values practical skills and competence.
This Level 1 qualification is your foundation. To become fully qualified, you will need to progress onto further training such as Level 2, 18th Edition and industry experience. We will guide you through your progression pathway.
The course runs for 14 weeks and is delivered through evening sessions to fit around full-time work.
You will be set some study tasks and theory work that can be completed from home to support your learning and preparation for assessments.
However, this is a practical electrical qualification. You will be required to attend our training centre to complete all hands-on workshop activities, practical tasks and assessments.
Practical competence is essential within the electrical industry, so in-centre attendance is a mandatory part of the course.
Please contact our main office at Info@tfeukltd.com and a member of our team will respond promptly with full course pricing and payment options.
We also offer interest-free monthly payment plans to make training more accessible.
